Spartanburg

Spartanburg, South Carolina is a majorly infested location where survival is a true struggle. Here you'll find the experienced survivors and very few groups. Buildings and streets are crumbling due to the bombing that took place in attempt to clear the herds, though the sound attracted twice the amount of corpses.

Tyler chuckles dryly at the sight of corpses trying to get into the building he's currently hiding in, blood staining his jeans and black T-shirt. He loads his crossbow and sprints up to the roof, where he then jumps to the next rooftop breathlessly, as he'd been running on an injured leg for quite a while now without anyone to help him. He adjusts the bag on his shoulder and inhales sharply in pain as he kneels down and digs through the supplies for anything to help his leg.

She leans against a stray bit a stone laying on the top of the roof, Sarah watching over the edge. "Anything to see?" She calls, squinting her eyes. "So far, nothing but the dead!" Sarah calls, adjusting the rifle on her shoulder

"Nice try, bastards." He mutters, peering over the roof and trading his crossbow for his silenced sniper rifle, taking aim and shooting down 4 corpses near the entrance of the other building. He slings the bag over his shoulder again and continues shooting, a focused glint in his green/blue eyes.

Sarah jumps back from the edge with a yelp and Wren stands up straight immediately. "What's wrong?" She asks, by her side just in time to see a few of the dead fall. "Holy shit," she breathes and Sarah nods. "There's someone taking them down."

He swears under his breath once out of ammo, reloading the rifle and gripping it tightly as he jumps back to the roof of the original building, sprinting down the stairs and back to the doors, handling a few stragglers and ignoring the pain shooting up his leg as he points his rifle to their heads and pulls the trigger, making sure they don't get too close to him in the process.

Wren scans the roofs of the nearby buildings, catching the flash of Mateo before it disappears down the stairs of the next building over. She grabs Sarah's sleeve, pulling her along. "Let's go!" She calls as she leaps to the next roof over, Sarah right behind her as she runs down the stairs and to the main floor.

He switches for his knife once tired of the weight of the rifle, slightly limping as he rushes away from a corpse, digging his knife into the skull of anything that gets in his way.

Sarah raises her rifle without a word, killing off the dead around the man without a word. The noise draws them toward the duo, causing Wren to raise her twin pistols and help her sister.

He hisses in pain as his leg hits a shelf, causing him to stumble slightly before exiting the building through the back, avoiding corpses to the best of his ability while trying to return to his group.

"Go after him Sarah," Wren hisses, finishing off the ones in the store and running after thebman just behind Sarah. They cover him as they run, keeping about ten feet behind him.

He glances back and curses quietly, taking a sharp turn opposite of the way of his group, ignoring the faint barking of Bullet and Artemis.

"Your an idiot!" Wren yells, Sarah agreeing with a nod as they run without any ammo. They catch up to him, at his heels.

"I wouldn't say idiot, more like male," He mutters, southern drawl highly evident, stopping and breathing heavily from his sprint. He switches for his crossbow and keeps it at the ready, eyeing the two cautiously.

"You had better start getting some faith in us," Sarah warns. "Or we might suddenly not be here to save your ass." "Exactly," Wren mutters, raising her machete and slashing at the dead.

"Faith in strangers when I got people to get back to? You two must be dreamin'," He scoffs, raising his crossbow and pulling the trigger before retrieving the arrow when the corpse had fallen at his feet.

"Better then dying in an department store," Wren snickers, killing off two before switching to crow bar and handing Sarah her machete. "So limpy, what do ya say?"

"Still don't know you," He counters, before glancing the way he was going originally, silently hoping that the time he's spending talking hasn't put his group in any danger.

"Sarah and Wren Lawrence, good to know," Sarah says with a smile, quickly taking one out just two feet away from Wren. "Thanks," Wren mutters, continuing to swig the crow bar.

"Safer to talk where my group's stopped at for the moment. Come with me unless you're better off out here," He mutters, keeping his blue/green gaze locked on a street a couple yards away.

He ignores the use of the name and starts towards the building about a block away at a swift walk, his limp only slightly evident as he uses his crossbow to decapitate corpses rather than waste his only 3 arrows.

Wren and Sarah move on either side of him in case he fails over as the walk. They kill in unison, taking them down at the same time like machines.
